No. Hedra runs entirely within your environment. We use locally-deployed models and never send your data, prompts, or results to external AI providers like OpenAI or Anthropic.

Hedra deploys to your cloud VPC (AWS, GCP, Azure) or on-premises infrastructure. The application, models, and all processing happen inside your security perimeter.

PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Databricks. We're adding more connectors based on customer demand.

Hedra inherits your database permissions through role-based access control (RBAC). Users can only query data their database credentials allow. Additional column and row-level restrictions can be configured.

Read-only. Hedra requires read-only database credentials and cannot insert, update, or delete data. This is enforced at the connection levelβ€”we literally cannot write to your database.

Every number in a Hedra report comes from an actual SQL query result. We show the query, the raw data, and the transformation logic. No numbers are generatedβ€”only retrieved and calculated from your data.

SOC 2 Type II certification is in progress (target Q1 2025). For healthcare customers, we offer HIPAA BAA and can deploy in HIPAA-compliant configurations.
