Welcome to Hedra. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hedra's AI-powered products, software, website, integrations, and pilot features (collectively, the "Service"). Hedra is currently offered in a preliminary phase, which means features may change quickly, availability is not guaranteed, and outputs may be experimental. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Agreement to Terms
By using Hedra, you confirm that:
- • You are at least 16 years old
- • You have the authority to enter into these Terms
- • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- • All information you provide is accurate and complete
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Service Description
Hedra provides an AI-powered data analysis service that:

Provides insights directly in your Slack workspace

Creates charts and reports from your data
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
Preliminary phase notice
You acknowledge that Hedra is evolving rapidly. Features, model providers, rate limits, supported data sources, and output formats may change at any time. You should independently review important outputs before relying on them for production, legal, financial, or compliance decisions.
3. User Accounts and Security
Account Creation
You may access Hedra through password-based login, OAuth providers, workspace integrations, or other methods we support. You are responsible for:
- • Maintaining the security of your Hedra and connected identity accounts
- • All activities that occur under your account
- • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- • Ensuring your team members use the Service appropriately
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk to our Service or other users.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to:
- ✗Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- ✗Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- ✗Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- ✗Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- ✗Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal use
- ✗Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
- ✗Use the Service to infringe on others' intellectual property rights
- ✗Overload, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or servers
5. Your Data and Privacy
Ownership
You retain all rights to your data. We do not claim ownership of any data, files, or content you submit to the Service. By using Hedra, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for ensuring the security of your database credentials and connection information.
Third-Party AI Providers
To operate the Service, Hedra may send prompts, file content, schema details, metadata, instructions, and generated outputs to third-party model and infrastructure providers that we choose from time to time.
These providers may include OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek, and functionally similar LLM or hosting providers. By using the Service, you instruct Hedra to process and transfer service data to such providers as reasonably necessary to provide the Service.
You must only submit data that you are authorized to share with Hedra and its subprocessors, and you remain responsible for determining whether your use of the Service is appropriate for regulated, confidential, or sensitive data.
Privacy Policy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6. Intellectual Property
Our Rights
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Hedra and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
Your Rights
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use them without any obligation to you.
7. Payment and Billing
Pricing
Pricing for paid plans is available on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing customers.
Billing
- • Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
- • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- • You must provide accurate billing information
- • We may suspend Service for non-payment after notice
Taxes
Fees do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for paying all taxes associated with your purchase.
8. Warranties and Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE"
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:
- • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated queries or insights
- • Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
- • The results obtained from using the Service
- • That the Service will meet your specific requirements
You use the Service at your own risk. We recommend reviewing all AI-generated SQL queries before execution on production databases.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- •Hedra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption
- •Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- •We are not responsible for data loss or corruption caused by incorrect queries, user error, or third-party services
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hedra, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- • Your use or misuse of the Service
- • Your violation of these Terms
- • Your violation of any rights of another party
- • Your data or content submitted to the Service
11. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services, including:
- • Slack: For workspace communication
- • OpenAI/Anthropic: For AI model inference
- • Your databases: PostgreSQL, Firestore, etc.
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.
12. Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@hedra.tech. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations for services already provided.
By Us
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Effect of Termination
After termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it. You may request a data export before termination.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by:
- • Posting the updated Terms on this page
- • Updating the "Last Updated" date
- • Sending an email notification for significant changes
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
14. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@hedra.tech to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.
15. General Provisions
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Hedra regarding the Service.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Waiver
No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
